Position Summary

Senior Delivery Manager responsible for the planning, testing, releasing and supporting high-quality software applications based on client requirements and Esprow’s internal technology roadmap. This person must be able to take ownership of the product planning and delivery process, and follow through every step required until delivery is achieved. The job requires good communication skills, the ability to work in a small team environment, to manage staff and to deliver on-time and on-quality work..

Main Responsibilities


    • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define the functional scope of each product release.
    • Build detailed project plans using Gantt charts and other tools to define delivery roadmaps.
    • Collaborate with software developers and testers to estimate realistic delivery dates.
    • Follow up with developers to keep the project up to date and see each task through completion.
    • Design and maintain on-site and off-site implementation plans for the Professional Service team.

    • Follow up with testers to keep the project up to date and see each task through completion.
    • Assist in the setting up and maintenance of Development, QA and Production environments.

    • Oversee the software build system to prepare it for the upcoming releases.
    • Update product documents, e.g. user manuals, based on new features, improvements, etc..
    • Create product release notes documents.
    • Release new product versions officially to users.
    • Support new users during the product deployment phase, through installation and go-live.

    • Provide first-line product support to user queries
    • Manage user licenses
    • Collect useful user feedback that can lead to products’ improvements

Skills and Qualifications


    • [Must-Have] Be a fast learner and able to take ownership of product areas.
    • Experience with managing small and medium sized IT projects.
    • [Must-Have] Project management qualifications, e.g. PMP or PRINCE2.
    • Experience with estimating tasks’ efforts and durations.
    • [Must-Have] Very high attention to details and always strive to achieve perfection.
    • [Must-Have] Persistent and follow up with team members until tasks are completed.
    • Experience with MS Project or similar project management tools, in particular Gantt charts.

    • Experience with planning and carrying out software product testing.
    • Ability to manage a team of QA testers, assign tasks, and deliver high-quality products.
    • Good IT skills to be able to maintain different system environments, e.g. QA and UAT.

    • Good IT skills to be able to manage the software build system and escalate issues if necessary.
    • Excellent written English, necessary to maintain product documents, e.g. user guides.
    • Expert with MS Word, to edit product documents.
    • Excellent email etiquette and manners to be able to send out release announcements to clients.
    • Patience and understanding when helping new users familiarize with the products.

    • Ability to respond to user queries timely after booking them into our ticketing system.
    • Dispatch support queries to other team members in other regions when necessary.
    • Maintain accurate count of users licenses and issue them as and when required.

Degree of Autonomy & Level of Authority

Working under the supervision of the Product Manager and able to undertake the necessary work very much independently once it’s scoped out. We have a flat hierarchy where everyone gets involved with different aspects of the technology and is free to voice their opinion..
